DAY 1 | WELCOME TO MEXICO!

Arriving in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur's seaside resort par excellence, you'll pick up your hire car before setting off for La Paz, the capital of Baja California, which offers a wealth of natural activities to discover its extremely varied fauna. This cosmopolitan city, once occupied by the Americans, is still far removed from mass tourism and hustle and bustle. At the end of the day, take a stroll along the "malecon", a promenade running alongside the bay, to enjoy a magnificent sunset.

DAY 2 - DISCOVER THE ISLAND OF ESPIRITU SANTO

Today, why not treat yourself to a boat excursion (not included) to discover Isla Espiritu Santo? Protected by UNESCO, this national park is one of the most diverse ecosystems in the region and one of the most important in Mexico. Numerous species, especially mammals and reptiles, can feed and reproduce here all year round. The island's flagship animal is the sea lion, which you can swim with. There is a colony of 300 in the north of the archipelago. There are plenty of opportunities to explore the main island, including snorkelling, kayaking, trekking and diving, where you may spot giant rays, hammerhead sharks and turtles. The archipelago's isolation, volcanic origin and contrasting landscapes of sea and desert make for a unique experience not to be missed.

DAY 3 - ENCOUNTER THE FIRST CAPITAL OF BAJA CALIFORNIA

Today, you're off to Baja California Sur's first capital: Loreto. It was here that the evangelisation of the region's four indigenous ethnic groups - the Pericues, Monguis, Guaycuras and Cochimis - began, with the establishment of several missions, including those of San Javier and Notre Dame de Loreto. The "magic village" of Loreto faces a rich marine world, the Bahia de Loreto National Park protected by CONANP, which includes the islands of Coronado, Carmen, Danzante, Montserrat and Santa Catalina. From December to March, the world's largest mammal, the blue whale, comes here to feed, reproduce and give birth.

DAY 4 - A DAY IN THE DESERT

DAY 5 - THE OLDEST TOWN IN BAJA CALIFORNIA

Today, you return to Baja California's oldest town, Loreto. Visit the historic center of the first Spanish colony, including the first Jesuit church built in 1697, Mission Loreto. Nearby is the Plaza Salvatierra, where you can admire its period architecture. You'll then reach the "malecon", where you can find an excursion to enjoy Loreto's many landscapes: desert, mountains and sea. There's no shortage of activities for nature lovers: boating, kayaking or diving, the choice is yours! For history buffs, take a trip along the Route of the Missions to understand the demographic and economic evolution of this territory, and in particular the most impressive and important, that of San Javier.

DAY 6 - GREY WHALE WATCHING IN PUERTO SAN CARLOS

Today, after a stop at Loreto, you'll head for Puerto San Carlos, located on the Pacific coast of Baja California Sur. It's a small fishing port, which in winter is transformed into a tourist center welcoming dozens of visitors keen to discover the famous gray whale. Puerto San Carlos boasts some 240 kilometers of mangroves, beaches and coastline surrounding the vast bay.

DAY 7 - DISCOVER THE WILDLIFE OF LA PAZ

Morning in Puerto San Carlos, home to a fishing community facing the Pacific Ocean. Enjoy the calm of the village and opt for a trip out to sea to observe the gray whales. DAY 8 - VISIT TO TODOS SANTOS, A PEACEFUL OASIS BY THE OCEAN

Today, you will reach the southern tip of the peninsula. Stop en route at Todos Santos, famous for its colonial charm and artistic creativity. Today, Todos Santos is a quiet oasis by the ocean, which is probably why the town has attracted so many artists, both Mexican and foreign. You'll visit the main square "Plaza de Armas" surrounded by the city's most representative buildings, and take advantage of the many galleries and craft stores to buy a Baja California souvenir. Todos Santos is also known for its "Hotel California", made famous by the famous Eagles song. Late afternoon arrival in Cabo San Lucas, Baja California's premier seaside resort, renowned for its beaches, diving, fishing and gray whale watching. Together with its neighbor San José del Cabo, more artistic and tranquil, they form the municipality of Los Cabos, by which name they are often referred to. Los Cabos lies at the junction of the Sea of Cortés and the Pacific Ocean, offering a mix of incredible landscapes shared between sea, mountains and desert, and making this destination a must-see on the peninsula. Free days in Cabo San Lucas, the perfect place to enjoy the relaxed pace of southern Baja California at the end of your stay.

The town is renowned for its festive atmosphere and offers a wide variety of activities (not included in the offer) to suit all tastes. You can stroll along the marina, which is lined with restaurants and shops, take a sunset cruise or go kayaking or paddleboarding along the coastal cliffs.

Thrill-seekers can choose to go on a buggy ride through the desert or try surfing on the beaches exposed to the Pacific swell. Those seeking relaxation can enjoy the seaside spas or panoramic terraces, where they can sip a margarita.

A trip extension to Cabo Pulmo National Park can be considered. Located about a two-hour drive away, this protected site is home to one of the oldest and best-preserved coral reefs in North America. It is a prime spot for diving and observing marine biodiversity.

Cabo San Lucas is also an excellent destination for gastronomy: freshly caught seafood, modern Mexican fusion cuisine, and tasty street tacos will delight the palate.

In the evening, the town comes alive: live musicians, open-air bars, and a warm atmosphere extend the experience late into the night.
