Your detailed itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Buenos Aires

Your driver will meet you at the airport with a sign bearing your name. You will meet your small group of fellow travellers (maximum 12 people) and take your first stroll around the capital. Your driver will take you to your hotel (your room will be available from 3pm).

Day 2: Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is, of course, the capital of tango, and you'll see evidence of it everywhere you go, but that's not the only thing this city is famous for! Take advantage of this free day to stroll around the Argentine capital and admire its architecture, which combines neoclassical, art nouveau and art deco styles. Soak up the lively, chic and sporty atmosphere! Football is a big part of this, of course, but there are many other sports that Argentines are passionate about. And let's not forget the 'porteña' culture with its many museums, exhibitions, iconic sites and above all... excellent food!

Day 3: Tierra del Fuego

You will fly to Tierra del Fuego, bound for Ushuaia. You have the rest of the day free in the southernmost city in the world. Hiking, exhibitions, museums... our local guides will recommend a wide range of activities.

Day 4: Tierra del Fuego National Park and the Beagle Channel

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to Tierra del Fuego National Park, 14 km from the city center. You then have half a day to discover this magnificent place, accompanied by your guide. There are many must-see spots in the park: Lapataia Bay, Lake Roca and its view of the mountain ranges, beaver dams and more. There's plenty of flora and fauna for you to photograph. In high season, you'll meet the postman at the end of the world and have the chance to send a card to your loved ones from the southernmost post office on the planet. You'll also stop off at the interpretation center to learn more about the park. At the end of the tour, your driver will take you to downtown Ushuaia for lunch at a restaurant before continuing your day's exploration. After lunch, you will embark directly at the port of Ushuaia. Then sail to the Les Eclaireurs Lighthouse (nicknamed "the lighthouse at the end of the world") on the Beagle Channel, the natural border between Argentina and Chile. You'll have the chance to observe colonies of sea lions in their natural state. You will then return to the port of Ushuaia in the early afternoon. From there, your driver will take you to your hotel.

Day 5: Glacier Route

After a final morning at leisure in Tierra del Fuego, your driver will pick you up from your hotel to take you to the airport. You will fly to the town of El Calafate, the starting point of the Patagonian Glacier Route. You will have the afternoon free in El Calafate to walk around Lago Argentino or, for example, visit the Glacier Museum.

Day 6: Perito Moreno & estancia

Today you'll head for the Glacier National Park. Exploration day at the Perito Moreno Glacier, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You'll be thrilled to hear the crack of ice blocks collapsing into the turquoise waters of Lago Argentino. You will then reach the estancia d'Esteban. Enjoy a two-hour horseback ride. In this exceptional setting, with the mountains of the Cordillera and the lake of the Perito Moreno glacier as a backdrop, you'll enjoy a breathtaking view. On the programme: Discovery of the local flora and fauna. In the evening, you'll enjoy a typical asado dinner at the estancia. You will then return to your hotel.

Day 8: Northwest Argentina

Today you will fly to Salta in north-west Argentina. You have the evening free to discover Salta La Linda through its pedestrian streets, churches and beautiful colonial houses.

Day 9: The Salinas Grandes

You will take the road to San Antonio de Los Cobres and stop off at the small village of Tastil. Then you're off again along Route 40 to reach the Salinas Grandes. A landscape as breathtaking as it is intriguing, where the white of the soil blends endlessly with the blue of the sky in the Andes. Discover the small village of Purmamarca.

Day 10: La Quebrada de Humahuaca

This morning, you'll head for the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for its picturesque villages and Andean culture. You'll take the opportunity to visit the El Hornocal mountain at an altitude of over 4,500m. A true palette of colours awaits you.

Day 11: Immersive experience in a local home

You will meet Raul, member of an Andean community. You will take part in a gastronomic workshop with Raul and Maria, the cook. Depending on the season, you can harvest and wash quinoa, prepare llama guiso, harvest honey... And you get to eat what you've cooked!

Day 12: Salta La Linda

You'll discover Salta. On the programme: the Cathedral, the Cultural Center of the Americas, the Museo Histórico del Norte (Cabildo), the Basilica Menor de San Francisco, the San Bernardo Convent, the Monumento Güemes, the cable car ride up Cerro San Bernardo and San Lorenzo and its panoramic view.

Day 13: Argentinian side of Iguazu

You'll head for the Iguazu National Park on the Argentine side to discover the Iguazu Falls, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and also a "natural wonder of the world". Don't miss the impressive Garganta del Diablo (literally "Devil's Throat"), the Park's highest waterfall at 80 metres.

Day 14: Brazilian side of Iguazu

Cross the border and head to Brazil to see the Iguazu Falls in its entirety. On the programme: A guided tour of the Brazilian side of the Iguazu Falls, with its panoramic view of 270 waterfalls, some 40 to 80 metres high. Your driver will then take you to Foz do Iguaçu airport (in Brazil). Flight from Foz do Iguaçu to Rio de Janeiro. Your driver will meet you at Rio de Janeiro airport and take you to your accommodation.

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel three hours before your flight takes off and take you to Buenos Aires international airport. You will then fly back to France.

Good to know

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

IDENTITY

Please be sure to verify that your necessary Identification documents (passport and/or ID card dependent upon the country to which you will be travelling) have valid expiration dates, i.e. verify your ID documents have not yet expired.
