Hotel: 3-star Infinito Hotel (or similar)

DAY 2 - GUIDED TOUR OF BUENOS AIRES AND CULINARY TOUR

Your English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel to show you around the city. You will begin by exploring the bohemian neighbourhood of San Telmo, listening to anecdotes and legends, before moving on to the historic centre, where you can admire different architectural styles and impressive domes (for example, the Plaza de Mayo and the Cabildo). You will then visit the colourful district of La Boca, famous for its unique street, Caminito, which is a genuine open-air museum. This guided tour lasts approximately 4 hours. A car will be available. At the end of the day, embark on a culinary journey through the bustling streets of Buenos Aires and explore one of the city's liveliest neighbourhoods while sampling local specialities. During this tour, you will have the opportunity to savour a variety of typical dishes that perfectly illustrate the flavours of Argentina.

Hotel: 3-star Infinito Hotel (or similar)

DAY 3 - FLIGHT TO USHUAIA AND BOAT TRIP TO THE END OF THE WORLD

In the morning, you will be transferred to Buenos Aires city airport to board your flight to Ushuaia, known as the end of the world. On arrival in Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, you will be transferred to your hotel. Nestling in a bay between the Beagle Channel and the mountains, Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego, is known as the city at the end of the world. Its unique atmosphere is particularly evident in the harbour, where shipping companies post timetables for their forthcoming departures to Antarctica. In the afternoon, head to the pier for a sail along the Beagle Channel to watch the sea lions and cormorants. Head for Island H, where you will disembark for a short walk of around an hour to discover the Yámana archaeological sites and the island's flora and fauna, with the assistance of your local guide. You'll have a breathtaking view of the Les Éclaireurs lighthouse, located between Argentina and Chile, where the Andes meet the sea. You can also admire the mountains overlooking Ushuaia and the Chilean coast on the other side. Return to Ushuaia in the late afternoon. Duration: 4 hours. English/Spanish-speaking guides.

Hotel: 3-star Hosteria Mi Vida (or similar)

DAY 4 - TERRA DEL FUEGO NATIONAL PARK

Today, set off to discover the majestic Tierra del Fuego National Park! Marvel at its astonishing landscapes, forests, lakes and the magic of "the end of the world". Created in 1960, this 63,000-hectare park protects the southernmost Andino-Patagonian forest, nestled in steep mountains along a rugged coastline. This group tour is accompanied by an English/Spanish-speaking guide. Duration: 5 hours. Entry fee to the National Park included. In the early evening, we recommend dinner at Kaupe, one of Ushuaia's best restaurants.

Hotel: 3-star Hosteria Mi Vida (or similar)

DAY 5 - FLAVOURS FROM THE END OF THE WORLD

Today, you're in for an experience that will delight both your eyes and your taste buds. You will leave Ushuaia heading north towards the Beagle Channel. On the way, you will stop off at Laguna Victoria. In Brown Bay, you'll make a diversion to admire the famous "flag trees", then you'll get a lift back to Puerto Almanza, the main traditional fishing port, where they mainly catch crab. A few kilometres past Puerto Almanza, you'll get to the home of one of the region's most famous fisherwomen. You will have to walk one kilometre along a dirt track to reach your host's house for the day. She will welcome you into her home to taste typical Beagle Channel dishes for an unforgettable dining experience. The group will be small with an English/Spanish speaking guide. Lunch is included.

Hotel: 3-star Hosteria Mi Vida (or similar)

DAY 6 - FLIGHT TO THE GLACIERS

Take off for El Calafate and the glaciers! On landing, you'll have a chance to catch a glimpse of Lake Argentino, which is right next to the airport. You can then return to the village by the gorgeous turquoise waters of the lake. Located on the southern shore of Lago Argentino, El Calafate is famous for being on the edge of Los Glaciares National Park, home to sites such as the Perito Moreno Glacier, the Upsala Glacier and Mount Fitz Roy. At the end of the day, you'll be welcomed into a local guesthouse, where you'll feel right at home in the heart of southern Patagonia. Enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and typical regional dishes, including many fine wines.

Hotel: 3-star Tierra Tehuleche, El Calafate (or similar)

DAY 7 - PERITO MORENO GLACIER AND TRADITIONAL ESTANCIA

Get ready for an unforgettable day! You'll start by crossing the Patagonian steppe before arriving to a typical estancia. There, you will discover the traditional activities of the Argentine gauchos and have the opportunity to enjoy an authentic "asado" (barbecue) prepared right in front of you. After lunch in the heart of the Patagonian plains, you will take a boat along the South and Rico arms of Lake Argentino to Las Monedas beach, where you will take a walk through the forest. The boat will take you back to the famous Perito Moreno glacier, in the heart of the Glacier National Park, where you will spend the late afternoon admiring this natural wonder as it rises majestically before you... This is a small group tour with an English/Spanish-speaking guide and entrance fees are included. In the evening, we recommend dinner at La Cocina, a restaurant that has been open since 1993.

Hotel: 3-star Tierra Tehuleche, El Calafate (or similar)

DAY 8 - EXPLORING THE PLAINS AND GLACIERS OF PATAGONIA ESTANCIA CRISTINA

You will leave the port of Punta Banderas at 8.30 a.m. to begin your cruise on the northern arm of Lake Argentino. Aboard a modern and comfortable boat, you will cross the Upsala Channel, sailing through the icebergs, surrounded by magnificent scenery commanding a view of the Upsala Glacier's western front. You will then board a 4x4 for a ten-kilometre drive through the mountain roads. These lands, which have recently been freed from the ice, are of remarkable geological interest. Once at the summit, you'll enjoy an exceptional view of the eastern face of the Upsala glacier and Lake Guillermo, before descending by 4x4 to the estancia. In the afternoon, you will visit an old sheep shed where you will discover the fascinating story of the Masters family, true pioneers of Southern Patagonia. At 5 p.m., you'll board again to get to the port of Puerto Bandera at around 7 p.m., where your bus will be waiting to take you back to El Calafate. DAY 9 - RETURN TO BUENOS AIRES
