THE WESTIN MALDIVES

Nestled in the UNESCO reserve of Baa Atoll, The Westin Maldives welcomes you for breakfast or half-board on the shores of the Indian Ocean. In perfect harmony with its natural surroundings, your 5* resort offers luxury suites and villas on the lagoon's edge. To ensure that your stay is as indulgent as possible, your hotel features a fitness center with spa and fitness studio, a swimming pool and private beach, three restaurants and a friendly bar.



Practical information:
  • Whether your stay includes a flight or not, transfers are included:

    Airport - hotel - airport transfer by domestic flight and speedboat included.

    Travel time: Domestic flight approx. 25 minutes, speedboat approx. 10 minutes.

    Airport - hotel - airport transfer by seaplane extra.

    Travel time: 30 minutes.

    Transfer times are for guidance only and may be changed at the initiative of the transfer operator without prior notice.

    **If your program includes a domestic flight, please send us your passport details as soon as possible via the contact form in "Help and contact" at the bottom of the page, so that we can manage your flight booking as efficiently as possible

    Luggage allowance for transfers: 20kg for hold luggage and 5kg for hand luggage (any extra will be charged locally)

    Domestic transfers will be operated within a maximum of 3 hours from your arrival at Malé international airport.

    Transfers are operated between 6am and 3pm. If your international flights do not allow a transfer on the day of your arrival, the night you spend in Malé will be at your expense.

    The transfer company may change its flight schedule and consequently the duration of transfers without prior notice

    In the event of extreme weather conditions, transfers may not be possible. We cannot be held responsible for this and no refund can be claimed (force majeure).

Designed for a maximum of two adults, the Beach Villa with Pool consists of a master bedroom with a large double bed opening onto the turquoise waters of the lagoon and a lounge separated by a sliding partition. A verandah with a swimming pool adds to the many attractions of these refined safe havens.



Deluxe Beach Villa with Swimming Pool [164m²]

The Deluxe Beach Villa with Pool includes a master bedroom with a double bed and a living room separated by a removable partition with a sofa bed. Outside, the verandah with its swimming pool enable you to enjoy the Maldives sun in complete privacy.



Over Water Villa [194m²]

Perched above the turquoise lagoon, the villas on stilts open onto generous spaces decorated with elegance and sobriety. Featuring a master bedroom with a large double bed and a living room with a comfortable sofa bed, they can accommodate up to three guests.

Villa on Stilts with Swimming Pool [194m²]

Push open the door to our stilt villas with pool and let yourself be charmed by the enchanting atmosphere of these delicate cocoons set against the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. Good to know

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Transportation

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.

You will be informed whether or not luggage is included at the time of your booking.

You will have the opportunity to add additional luggage for a fee.

There are several different cities that are typically offered as departure points. Your arrival destination will show in your travel documents.

Depending on the flight schedule, some arrivals or returns may be made at night with early arrival or late departure. You will not always be able to have your room available immediately and will need to refer to the check-in and check-out conditions of the hotel.

In the event that your transfer is not included in your hotel reservation, it may be offered at the time of your reservation as an additional option. Unless specifically mentioned, transfers may be made in groups of 15 to 55 people.

IDENTITY

Please be sure to verify that your necessary Identification documents (passport and/or ID card dependent upon the country to which you will be travelling) have valid expiration dates, i.e. verify your ID documents have not yet expired. Also, be sure to remember to bring these necessary documents with you. It is also recommended to make copies of all travel documents in the event of an emergency.



Travel documents
