Day 1: Arrival in Denpasar - Kuta

Welcome to the Island of the Gods

You will be met by your driver and your travel expert at the airport. After a small presentation of what awaits you during this wonderful trip to Indonesia, you'll head to your hotel. On the road, you'll receive your first impression of Bali, full of the cultural diversity of the island's southern region. You are sure to be drawn to the small restaurants, with their colourful decor and delicious food, and the welcoming smiles of the locals.

Day 2: Kuta

Trek through the rice paddies and trip to the sacred temple

You will wake up on your first morrning in Bali in an enchanting setting. Enjoy a tasty breakfast at the hotel before starting a trek along a beautiful trail. Let the splendour of the landscape be your guide, stroll through the rice paddies and admire the temple of Tanah Lot at the end of the road. This sacred Balinese site looks even more spectacular at high tide, when the waves come crashing down on the rock on which the temple is built. This is a very special place for Balinese ceremonies, with many believing the location to be charged with energy.

Day 3: Pupuan - Pemuteran

Incredible sights along the road to Pupuan

This morning, you will leave the south of the island to discover the less frequented north and its wonderful sights and experiences, which you won't be able to get enough of during your stay in Bali. Leave Tanah Lot by road, turn right at Antosari, and take in the spectacular view! You will see miles and miles of rice paddies and jungle spread out in a festival of vibrant colour. You can stop along the way to visit a coffee factory or discover the waterfalls of Pupuan. The show continues along the road to the north coast as you travel towards Pemuteran.

Day 4: Pemuteran

Day of relaxation combining sea and forest

Take advantage of your free day to do whatever takes your fancy. Your driver is at your disposal and you have so many choices. The simplest is of course relaxing at the hotel or on Pemuteran beach because, after all, you are on holiday. For the more adventurous, Menjangan Island is a wonderful place to snorkel and see the colourful fish flit by. You can also discover the Bali Barat National Park, which is sure to delight animal lovers and especially bird watchers.

Day 5: Lovina - Ubud

A fabulous experience at the Ulun Danu temple

This morning, you'll be taking the coastal road towards Lovina, in the north of Bali. First, you'll unwind at the hot water springs of Banjar. You'll love relaxing in these pools where the water is around 32°C. Then, you'll visit the Brahma Vihara Arama Monastery, the only Buddhist monument on the island. Continuing your journey, you'll discover the lakes of Tamblingan, Buyan and Bratan, then visit the Ulun Danu temple, one of Bali's most iconic sights. You're sure to be wowed by the combination of lush scenery and grandiose landscapes. You will then head back down to Ubud.

Day 6: Ubud - Tegalalang - Kintamani

Volkswagen Safari tour

This morning you will trade your ordinary vehicle for a Volkswagen Safari. These vintage convertible cars provide a thrilling way to discover some of Bali's more spectacular country roads. Your first stop is in the vicinity of Ubud. The landscapes are full of terraced rice paddies, country lanes, rural villages and waterfalls. You're sure to enjoy the lush landscapes that make Bali so charming. You can stopover in the artisans' street in Tegalalang which leads to the impressive terraced rice paddies. Then you'll be heading north to Kintamani and the caldera of Batur Volcano.

Day 7: Ubud

Discovering the cultural heart of Bali

Today, you have a free and driverless day. But don't worry, Ubud has more than enough on offer without you having to travel far. Take advantage of this day of rest to do some shopping, laze around the pool of your hotel, relax in a spa, stroll through the streets of Ubud, discover the many art galleries and museums, or encounter the mischievous monkeys of the Monkey Forest. There are plenty of options and there is something for everyone.

Day 8: Bedulu - Tampaksiring - Sidemen

The temple route

This morning, you'll take the road to Bedulu to visit the site of Goa Gajah. Also called "the elephant cave", this temple was built in the 9th century and features caves with picturesque sculptures. Then you'll go to Pura Gunung Kawi, a temple dedicated to King Anak Wungsu. You can then discover the sacred sources of Tampaksiring. In the afternoon, you'll head to the highest terraced sanctuary of Bali, passing by Bangli and its Pura Kehen temple. You'll arrive in the afternoon at Sidemen, a pretty little village in the midst of the rice paddies.

Day 9: Sidemen

Trek through the rice paddies

Get up early this morning and head out into the surrounding countryside of Sidemen for a gentle stroll. On your way, you will come across rice and fruit growers of all kinds. You'll find plantations of cloves, salaks (snake fruit), cocoa and other plants that make up the lush tropical vegetation of Bali. The terraced rice paddies especially are what make Sidemen's landscape look so magical. The afternoon is mainly reserved for relaxation. Why not try a famous Balinese massage?

Day 10: Jimbaran

Your first taste of Balinese grilled fish

You will meet your driver who will transfer you to Jimbaran, on the Bukit peninsula in the south of Bali. Take this opportunity to go to the famous Jimbaran fish market, before sampling some seafood for yourself. In the afternoon, relax at the beach, or go shopping for some souvenirs of your incredible trip. You'll get a chance to interact with the people who live here and get a feel for what life is like in Bali.

Day 11: Jimbaran - return to Denpasar airport

Depending on your flight schedule, take advantage of this time to have one last swim in the sea, one last grilled fish platter or sip from one last coconut. Your driver will pick you up at your hotel and take you to the international airport. It's time to take your flight and remember all the wonderful times you've had during your stay.
