Day 1: Welcome to Dublin

Fly to Dublin and pick up your hire car at the airport. A cosmopolitan capital, Dublin is famous for its cultural heritage, a real highpoint for travelers in search of authenticity.

Overnight stay in Dublin County.

Day 2: Dublin County to Mayo County

Breakfast.

Depart from Dublin and set off for the west coast of Ireland via the central plains. You'll have the opportunity to pass through the charming little town of Kilbeggan, where you can call in to the ancient Locke distillery. Then, on the way to Athlone, stop off at Clonmacnoise, a monastic site dating back to the 6th century, one of the most important monastic sights in Ireland. Continue on your journey towards Mayo County.

Lunch and dinner as you please.

Overnight stay in Mayo County.

Day 3: From Mayo County to Connemara

Breakfast.
Leave Castlebar and travel to one of Ireland's most beautiful regions. Connemara is well worth a visit for a better understanding of Gaelic culture. Travel through famous Irish fishing towns, such as Louisburg, Delphi, and Leenane. You'll also pass through the Maam Valley and the town of Maam Cross. Continue through Recess, the Lough Inagh Valley to Kylemore Abbey. Connemara National Park in Letterfrack is worthy of a visit.

Overnight stay in Galway County.

Day 4: Connemara

Breakfast.
Discover the southern part of Connemara. From Clifden, head to Ballyconneely and its golf course, via Roundstone and Ballynahinch, famous for its salmon fishing. Later, from Rossaveal you can take a ferry to the Aran Islands (30 min).
Lunch and dinner as you please.

Overnight stay in Galway County.

Day 5: Connemara to Killarney

Breakfast.
Head south to Kerry via the Cliffs of Moher and the Burren. Take the Killimer/Tarbet ferry and cross the river Shannon, the longest river in Ireland. Then drive through Listowel, known for its annual horse race, and continue south until you reach Tralee. Take the opportunity to visit "The Kingdom of Kerry" exhibition, before continuing on to Killarney.

Overnight stay in Kerry County.

Day 6: Killarney

Breakfast.

Explore the 170 km of the splendid Ring of Kerry. Stop off at spectacular viewpoints and admire sites such as Lady's View, Moll's Gap and the Torc waterfall. Alternatively, you can spend the day in Muckross House and its gardens, located in Killarney National Park, or go horse riding in the Gap of Dunloe.

Overnight stay in Kerry County.

Day 7: Killarney County to Kildare and Offaly Counties

Breakfast.

Depart Killarney and head for the south-east of Ireland via the towns of Mallow and Clonmel. Possible stop in Kilkenny, a famous medieval town, where you can visit Kilkenny Castle and the Kilkenny Design Centre.

Lunch and dinner as you please.

Overnight stay in Kildare/Offaly County.

Day 8: Dublin/Flight back

Breakfast.
Last day in Ireland. Free time, depending on your return flight, and then departure for Dublin airport. Return your hire car and fly back home.

- Minimum age of the driver: 25 years old, holding a French or international driving licence that has been valid for more than one year, and a credit card in their name.

- You must provide your passport
- The vehicle must be returned with a full tank of fuel.
- You must be able to show your valid driver's licence and keep it on you during your stay.

Good to know

If you are travelling alone, you will be asked to pay a surcharge for a single room. This additional charge will be automatically included in your quote.

Child rates will be applied for children from 2 to 12 years old in the case where the child shares the room with two adults. If the child is travelling with just one adult, the surcharge may be applied on an adult basis. If your child or children do not fit into the age group mentioned above, the rate will be communicated to you at the time of processing your order. If the room is equipped with a bunk bed, the bed height is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

For safety reasons, the wellbeing facilities of most establishments are not accessible to children under 16 years old. Similarly, it is possible that some amenities or services require an additional charge or are unavailable for exceptional reasons.

Transportation

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.
