THE CLIFF BAY

The Cliff Bay Hotel is a real gem of a hotel on top of a natural promontory, overlooking the sea and the bay of Funchal. Its prime location is perfect for enjoying an exceptional panorama while still having direct access to the sea. If you fancy cooling off, the hotel has three swimming pools, one of which is indoors. The rooms, freshly renovated in 2021, feature contemporary decor and a private terrace. Rooms

The hotel's rooms feature comfortable bedding and elegant decor with a focus on light colours. Some of them command a view of the bay of Funchal from their private terrace.



Standard Room

This room has a minimum surface area of 30 m² and can accommodate up to three people with two queen beds or one double bed. Located between the fourth and seventh floors, its private terrace with rattan furniture is perfect for admiring the hotel's gardens from a new angle.



Sea View Room

This room overlooking the sea has a maximum surface area of 36 m². Its south-facing terrace is ideal for sunbathing. Located between the first and fifth floors, this room has a double bed or two queen beds and can accommodate three people.



Superior Room

Up to three people can enjoy this pleasant living space of 30 to 36 square metres located between the sixth and eighth floors. Its south-facing terrace is ideal for perfecting your tan in the afternoon. The double bed or the 2 queen size beds guarantee a comfortable night's sleep.

The Rose Garden has themed dinners that vary daily. The Italian, Portuguese and international cuisine evenings are in keeping with the decor and atmosphere that is simply perfect in this garden with its sea view.



Avista Restaurant

Located in an old house, this unique restaurant has a breathtaking view of the sea and the bay of Funchal. The various dishes on offer give you the opportunity to sample a wide range of flavours.

The Cliff Bay Hotel overlooks the sea and offers easy access to its clear waters. Its private pontoon is ideal for exploring Madeira's seabed.
