Your detailed itinerary

Days 1 and 2: Oslo

Arrival at Oslo airport and free transfer to the city centre.

Welcome to Oslo, the capital of Norway.

This lively city is surrounded by forests and the beautiful Oslofjord. Stroll along the streets and explore the city of the royal family, as well as the main street of Karl Johans gate with its countless stores, bars and cafés.

Explore Frogner Park, an impressive park with 212 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland as well as the Arkehus Fortress, a national symbol.

You can also take a trip to the Bygdøy peninsula and visit the Viking museum with its three well-preserved longships, or the Fram museum with its polar expedition ships.

Day 3: Travelling to the Fjords by train

Departure by train to the west of Norway.

Travel across the Hardangervidda plateau before reaching Myrdal. There, you'll change for the legendary Flåmsbana panoramic train, which takes you to impressive heights to view the breathtaking scenery.

Discover the snow-topped mountains as you travel to Flåm, a small village on the edge of the fjord. Here you'll find yourself on the edge of the Sognefjord, the most beautiful fjord in Norway and truly spectacular when seen in all its winter splendour.

Day 4: The shores of the Sognefjord

Take advantage of this day on the shores of the fjord to walk around the area. In the afternoon, take a cruise along its narrowest tributary, the Nærøyfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a truly spectacular experience.

When you get to the other side, a shuttle bus will take you back to Flåm.

Days 5 and 6: Exploring Bergen

It's time to take the Flåmsbana in the opposite direction, then the train to Bergen. From the arrival at the station, enjoy a free day on your own to explore the city (transfer back to the hotel not included). Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of Bryggen and the old harbour, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site.

If you take the funicular to the top of Mount Fløien, you can see Bergen, the city of seven hills, from above.

We also suggest you visit the house of the great composer Edvard Grieg or the wooden Fantoft Stave Church, or take a boat trip around the Bergen archipelago.

In order to best organise your time in the airport, we advise that you arrive 2 hours before boarding for a medium-haul flight, or 3 hours before boarding for a long-haul flight (more than 5 hours). Take advantage of your early arrival to pass through security and check your luggage.

You will have the opportunity to add additional luggage for a fee.

There are several different cities that are typically offered as departure points. Your arrival destination will show in your travel documents.

Depending on the flight schedule, some arrivals or returns may be made at night with early arrival or late departure. You will not always be able to have your room available immediately and will need to refer to the check-in and check-out conditions of the hotel.

In the event that your transfer is not included in your hotel reservation, it may be offered at the time of your reservation as an additional option. Unless specifically mentioned, transfers may be made in groups of 15 to 55 people.
