About This Deal

For one: choice of cooking class

One hour classic French cookery class for one person.

You will cook along live with our experienced chef to cook a classic French main course from the following options:

Pan fried chicken breast, braised baby leeks, cocotte potatoes, tarragon veloute.

Duck breast, celeriac puree, fondant potato, vichy carrots, orange and duck jus.

Herb crusted rack of lamb, shallot puree, caramelised shallot, Pommes puree, glazed chestnut mushrooms, lamb jus

Pan fried seabass, Herbed crushed new potatoes, seasonal veg, tomato beurre blanc.

An ingredients list will be given to you before the class begins.

For two: choice of cooking class

You will cook along live with our experienced chef to cook a classic French main course from the following options:

All classes will be led by our expert chef, Damian Hughes who has been classically French trained.

A list of ingredients will be provided in the days before the course takes place

You will be sent an ingredients and methods list after the class so that you can recreate the dishes at home for your friends and family.

Vegetarian meals can be provided upon request.

About Plas Meirion Cookery School

Plas Meirion Cookery school was established in 2020. Our Chef, Damian Hughes has had an exciting career, working in a number of high quality restaurants and establishments across the country, including running the kitchen in an exclusive private members club in Mayfair, and becoming one of the private chefs to the Lord Mayor of London. We would now like to take this experience and allow people of all experience levels to be able to cook dishes like a professional. We aim to make your experience very hands on, and you will learn and cook everything on the day that the chef does. You will be guided from start to finish in small groups so that you receive the best possible experience.
