The Deal
Pure Oriental prepares Peking duck to a time-honoured recipe, and serves the roast waterfowl with cucumber, spring onion, pancakes and hoi sin sauce. Sharing a quarter of a duck, patrons can also each select a choice of main course such as crispy shredded beef in chilli sauce, shrimp in satay sauce or mixed vegetables with ginger and spring onion. The meal will be accompanied by a choice of egg-fried, coconut or boiled rice. Customers should note that menu items are subject to change.
The Merchant
Located on Upper Parkstone's Ashley Road, Pure Oriental offers classic Chinese, Malaysian and Thai cuisine to take away. The kitchen also prepares English classics like omelettes and onion rings, and is open every day except Wednesdays.
