How automatic movement works:
- When moving, a winding rotor on the movement rotates and winds the mainspring
- To start an automatic movement, it needs to be handled, worn, or manually wound
- To manually wind, rotate the crown clockwise without pulling out; slight resistance will be felt
- The mainspring will continually wind and will continue to run while wearing
- In addition, the watch will continue to run for a period of time after it is removed
