An interesting and informative afternoon, hosted by passionate owners, producing an excellent selection of English wines. A good light lunch which was accompanied by a selection of wines to taste. A enjoyable time and can highly recommend a visit here. You will be made very welcome. Thank you.

This really is all about just tasting the wine. There is a brief glimpse of the vines but no real detail on how the grapes are grown, tended and harvested.Furthermore, the wine is not made on site, or by the grower. Each wine you taste is not described by the host, merely sloshed into the glass (albeit in very generous quantities). The same glass is used for all wines, with no way of cleaning in between tastings. In my eyes, the host should be providing tips on how to properly taste the wines and should provide a palate cleanser for each tasting. He should then explain each wine in some depth, before providing a small amount to taste, followed by more for those who like it. In summary, if you are looking to taste copious amounts of wine sat at makeshift tables on chairs borrowed from a local Indian restaurant, in a cold steel shed, made by someone elsewhere, using the owners grapes, aren't bothered about how the wine is made or any of the etiquette arond tasting and just want to drink as much as possible, this is for you. If you want more of an immersive luxury experience, perhaps other vineyards will suit better.
