The Arena
The space for saber duelling is clearly marked out with LED lights, spectators are not allowed to enter this space when others are duelling unless you have purchased a Vibe Visor
Introduction and Basics
We’ll start by exploring the fundamentals of using a saber, covering both basic defense and attack techniques. You will also learn the Strike System to begin creating impressive duelling patterns with your partner.
Pairing Up and Practice Sessions
Next, we’ll pair up—team up with a friend or make a new one. Engage in fun practice sessions where one person defends while the other attacks. After a short break, we’ll switch roles to give you a full spectrum of the experience.
Rhythm Duels
Finally, we’ll bring everything together with duelling sessions synced to the music. This helps create a smooth, flow-like state, making the experience more immersive and enjoyable. You can choose to duel with your partner or with others, enhancing the thrill of it all.

About Saberwars
Saberwars was formed to offer people authentic duelling experiences without the structure of traditional disciplines. The idea being that through self expression and the use of music we can achieve a zen like state when duelling with others often learning through doing and having a lot more fun along the way. I started this business in the form of an online lightsaber retailer 2-3 years ago now. I found that they used a grub screw system that wore the blades down through extended use. I advised the manufacturer that this wasn't suitable for what I had in mind. Around 18 months later they informed me they had finally fixed this problem and so that is the sabers we stock and use for our duelling sessions. These things are unique, robust, don't wear down, cannot be broken and have incredible sound and effects. They really are the pinnacle of duelling sabers and you can experience them at Saberwars today! Our vision was always to offer people full contact duelling with Armour, however creating this has been tricky, developing fully customisable armour isn't easy and is taking longer than expected. However non contact duelling and choreography training through a strike system is something I would offer in the future as a kind of class to the Saberwars experience... So I have decided to call it Vibesaber and that is what is on offer today, duelling to the music in an immersive environment in Glasgow City Centre. We are just starting out, but we know you will love what we have in store, it is unlike anything else in the country! You and your friends will have an amazing time at Vibesaber, we guarantee it!
