The Chemical Dump, Tower of the Damned, and Bridge Too Far make up the paint-filled game zones for up to ten combatants
About This Deal
Tower of the Damned, Speed Barricade and the terrifyingly toxic Chemical Dump set the scene for paint-filled adventures for up to ten combatants. With 100 balls per person to get the strategic mayhem started, participants will find themselves doing battle across a range of game zones. A hot drink is also included for each player to boost morale and keep fighters feeling fresh as they feel the thrill of watching paint fly, with an average of 600 to 800 paintballs usually shot per person.
Groupon finds out a little more about the action-packed paintball on offer at Skirmish.
G: Why do people love paintballing so much?
“With paintballing, not only do you get the thrill of being the hunter, but also of being the hunted. Although the environment is controlled, when you are playing your basic instincts take over, and it really feels real.”
G: What skills do you need to be a good paintballer?
“The crucial element is team work. If you focus on your own survival, your team will suffer. A team with one man standing but with the enemy flag in their own base is still the victorious team, even if they finish outnumbered.”
G: What type of game scenarios do you have?
“When the business started, paintball game zones were more or less ‘field one’, ‘field two’ and so on. But we started making each game zone more unique, adding pill boxes, bunkers and other features to make each game more memorable and varied. This also allowed for us to incorporate other game scenarios such as VIP, attack and defend and centre flag.”
