Originally built by George Newton and serving as the family home for generations, it was later converted into a restaurant, small hotel, and function venue. In September 2002, after extensive refurbishment work, Staindrop Lodge reopened as a landmark bar, brasserie, and hotel influenced by the Art Deco design movement. Known for its quality of service and comfortable ambiance, it has become a beloved venue for dining and events.
