- Space strawberry runners at intervals of 45cm (18"") within rows spaced 75cm (30"") apart
- Ensure roots are spread out and place the plants in the soil with the crown just above the surface to prevent rotting
- Consider alternative growing methods such as hanging baskets or specially designed strawberry planters for patio cultivation
