The cake artists and instructors at Teach Me Sugarcraft both 'do' and 'teach', whipping up everything from novelty cupcakes to towering wedding cakes. As well as spreading sugar paste and buttercream, the team spreads knowledge through cupcake courses, cake-icing classes and cake parties. This two-hour cupcake-decorating class is held at a function room in the South Bristol Sports Centre. Getting their hands sticky, students learn how to create Sugarcraft's new 2013 cupcake designs, step by step as a group. At the end of the session, participants walk away with a box of a dozen deliciously decorated cupcakes to share with others, or hide in the back of a cupboard.
