What does IPL hair removal involve?

This treatment directs intense pulses of light at areas of unwanted hair over a series of short bursts. Various parts of the face and body can be targeted over a series of sessions.

What happens at the sessions? The first session will begin with a consultation and patch test, designed to determine suitability. Customers will then select the areas for treatment over six sessions. A four to six weeks gap is recommended between each session. Treatments performed with an IPL machine: Plasma Light 600.

What areas can be targeted?

  • Small areas: lip | chin | fingers | toes | beard line | sides of face | ears
  • Medium areas: underarms | half arms | extended bikini line | full face | neck | abdomen

  • Large areas: full back | full legs | full arms | full chest

  • Treatment time approx:
    • 15 minutes per small area
    • 25 minutes per medium area
    • 45 minutes per large area
