- Ideal for bringing the character to Japanese planting schemes and rockeries
- Can also make a fine container tree and add a splash of colour to mixed borders
- Delicate foliage is susceptible to sun scorch and wind burn, so they are best planted in a sheltered, lightly shaded position
- Supplied as a pot-grown plant in a 10.5cm nursery pot
- For best garden performance position in a sunny or semi-shaded position that is protected from cold winds
- Full planting and aftercare instructions will be supplied

Acer collection comprises:
Acer palmatum ‘Atropurpureum’
- Small tree, producing purple-red foliage that colours to fiery crimson in autumn
- Expected height and spread at maturity: up to 4m (13’)
Acer palmatum ‘Sango kaku’
- Coral-red young branches bear five-lobed leaves which open pinkish-yellow, turning green in summer and yellow in autumn
- Grown as a large deciduous shrub or small tree
- Expected size at maturity: height of 8m (26’) and spread of 4m (13’)
Acer palmatum ‘Emerald Lace’
- Delicate foliage in rich emerald green, tinged slightly with red
- Height and spread at maturity: up to 4m (13’)
