The Deal
One adult (usually £9) and one child *(£7.50) can enjoy a day out at Tropiquaria. Visitors can head out on safari in the Tropical Hall or gaze at the African freshwater fish in the aquarium. Animal lovers can also look out for such furry creatures as wallabies, meerkats, mongooses, reptiles and lemurs which reside in the five and a half acre outdoor enclosure. Kids can then run wild on the outdoor pirate ship play area and indoor castle play barn, while parents sample the offerings of the cafe. Inquisitive minds can learn about the zoo’s inhabitants during the keepers’ talks which run throughout the day. Larger groups can take advantage of the family pass (£30).
