Thrill-seekers can have the feeling of flying without needing to jump out of an aeroplane in this indoor skydiving session. With an instructor at their side, single flyers or pairs will enter a wind tunnel and use wind speeds of up to 180mph to support themselves in the air for two one-minute flights. If they wish to gain a greater understanding of bodyflight techniques they can opt for the four-flight package, where they’ll get one-to-one instruction on how to control their body while soaring in the air for five minutes.

Twinwoods Adventure provides a number of adrenaline-fuelled activities for thrill-seekers. The indoor skydiving tunnel features wind speeds of 180mph to let single adventurers or pairs float in the air. The FlowRider slope plays host to indoor surfing for kids and adults alike, while the RaceHouse driving centre lets wannabe motor racers face-off against each other in a simulator. The 125ft power fan jump lets daredevils take a plunge before cruising gently to earth, and there’s also a climbing wall featuring 20 different routes. Younger family members can enjoy the kids playhouse, and adults can relax in a health club featuring a gym and pool. The Bedford-based centre also offers accommodation, with a host of single and family rooms available.
