- Santos Purple is a fairly new addition to the Verbena family
- Produces slender wiry stems with vibrant purple flower heads
- Flowering from mid-summer to early autumn
- Long-lasting clusters of small nectar and pollen-rich flowers attract pollinating insects
- Easy to grow and tolerant of most adverse weather conditions
- Ideal for garden borders and patio containers
- For best garden performance plants prefer to be grown in moist, well-drained soil in sun or part shade
- Supplied as a pot-grown plant in a 9cm nursery pot
- At maturity expect a height of up to 60cm with a spread of 45cm
- A half-hardy perennial that can withstand temperatures of down to -5°C
