The Treatment
What does radio frequency involve?
A fine probe discharges a small, high-frequency electrical current to produces highly localised heat. This causes the mole, wart or skin to dry up. The treatment is preceded by a consultation, in which the practitioner can assess the wart in question. The treatment generally lasts approximately 30 minutes.
What happens afterwards?
The area will form a scab which will last a few days and should be left to naturally come away from the skin to avoid the risk of scarring.
Is any preparation needed?
