What does thread vein treatment involve?
Following a consultation, the treatment involves a series of diathermy procedures, each working to help collapse and fade an individual vein. Sessions are generally quite brief.
Which areas can be targeted?
This treatment can be used on any area of the body. It can to be used to reduce the visibility of spider or red thread veins up to 9cm x 4.5cm for two areas or 9cm x 9cm for four areas. Two or four areas can be treated in a single appointment.
What aftercare is needed?
For legs clients must wear compression stockings for a few days after leg treatment to minimise swelling. Avoid exercise, energetic activities and flights for two weeks.
