Product Details
- Film-coated
- Works the same way as regular Viagra and contains the same active ingredient; sildenafil citrate
- Indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men
- Helps to relax the blood vessels, enabling more blood to flow into the penis, making it easier to get an erection
- Does not cause an erection without sexual stimulation
- Suitable for men not taking any medicines that may interact with Viagra, or suffering from any health conditions that may affect its suitability
- Not suitable for men younger than 18 years
- Use only when suffering erection problems
- Common side effects include nausea, indigestion, stuffy nose and dizziness, but may also include facial flushing and blurred vision
- Recommended dose is one tablet taken 1 - 4 hours before sexual activity
- Read the patient information leaflet before use
- May cause dizziness
- Do not drive or operate machinery until body reaction to this treatment is known
- Do not take more than one tablet in any 24 hour period
- This medicine must not be taken by women
- Doctor’s consultation about alternative treatment and not taking this medicine is advised in case of:
- Being allergic or sensitive to sildenafil or any of the other ingredients listed on the pack
- Taking any medicines known as nitrates (including ‘‘poppers’’)
- Currently taking any medicine (guanylate cyclase stimulators, such as riociguat) to treat high blood pressure in the lungs
- Currently taking ritonavir (to treat HIV)
- History of loss of vision due to optic nerve damage or an inherited eye disease, such as retinitis pigmentosa
- Low blood pressure
- Problems with liver, heart or blood vessels
- A deformity of the penis, such as Peyronie’s Disease
