If you're a fan of Emmerdale you can pay homage to the long-running ITV evening soap opera by walking the very streets it is set and filmed in.

You will get a behind the scenes tour at the closed set at the Harewood Estate and discover how the TV programme is made today.

Trips to the set see you leaving central Leeds on an executive coach to the closed set at Harewood. 

The tour of the Emmerdale set is a guided walking tourd. It’s a real privilege to gain access on one of the few days the crew downs scripts in between shoots as the set is not normally open to the public. It’s also amazing to see how realistic the whole village set up is - despite the fact that those ever-so-familiar buildings are actually just timber framed, stone-clad temporary structures! Only exterior scenes are filmed here, as all the interiors of places like Home Farm and the cafe are actually at ITV’s studios in Leeds.

Emmerdale fans will be beside themselves with glee with this tour.

Following the tour of the existing set you will be transported by coach to the original Emmerdale Village at Esholt where you can compare both old and new versions of the village. Enjoy a drink at the original Woolpack and then be transported back to central Leeds where your Emmerdale Tour will end.

Departure Point
Please arrive at least 20 minutes early at your meeting point as the tour will leave promptly. The meeting point is just outside Leeds Railway Station at the layby on Bishopgate Street next to the Shabab restaurant opposite the Scarborough Hotel where you will see your guide and bus waiting for you.
