We're a small family business and we have a real passion for what we do. Garry and Jane have a background in storytelling and a love of history. Youngest daughter Kirsty is the chef with a love of producing traditional Scottish dishes, elevated to fine dining, and often with a twist. Eldest daughter Yla loves making people feel welcome and you will be in her good hands while you're here.
About This Deal
You will enjoy a sumptuous 6-course banquet, using the finest locally sourced food and drink, while enjoying tales of Highland history from our earliest times. Your host, Garry, will entertain and enthral with tales of kings and clans, Jacobites and clearances.
Everything about us helps tell the story of Scotland and its proud history - from the food itself to our repurposed antique cutlery and glassware. Garry will introduce you to some fascinating characters from our past - some famous, others obscure but all pivotal to our story. And he'll maybe even tell you which parts of our history are more accurate than others!

• Venison Carpaccio - Thinly sliced venison with pickled shallot and wild sorrel
• Mackerel Pate - Accompanied by pickled cucumber and served on a crostini base
• Beef cheek - The finest scottish beef served with pomme puree and seasonal vegetables.
• Raspberry surprise - Raspberry sorbet and lime jelly
• Deconstructed Scottish teacake - A unique take on one of our most traditional Scottish "cakes". Rich chocolate ganache with soft meringue and raspberry puree.
• Cheese Course - A selection of the finest Highland cheeses, some made in our own kitchen.
