Departure Point

  • The 'Constance Fund fountain of Diana' is located just outside Green Park tube station, in Green Park. If you are coming from the tube, use the 'Green Park / Buckingham Palace' exit. Your guide will be holding a small 'Fantastic Walks' flag.

Return Details
  • The tour ends at Westminster Abbey, next to the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and The Supreme Court. There are great transport links here - bus, tube and river boat.

Churchill was First Lord of the Admiralty on two occasions, and you will see the building from which Churchill led the country's senior military service. You'll also hear about the disastrous Gallipoli campaign, for which Churchill was very much responsible.

Whitehall is also known as the Corridor of Power for good reason. If you come to London, you MUST walk down this most historic of roads with a guide. It's historical hit after historical hit.

This is the end of our walk. ... and what a way to finish - at Westminster Abbey, the most important and historic cathedral in the country. There are great transport links here too, so you can move on seemlessly with your day.
