Join us on our Game of Thrones film locations tour where we will show you not only where the series was filmed in Northern Ireland but also the magnificent scenery hidden within our country.

First of all you will make your way to a little fishing village on the coast road called Carnlough. The harbor at Carnlough was featured in season six. No-one goes swimming in the harbor today, but later, one girl just might…

From here you make your way to Cushendun Caves. Although this is a stunning location, it is what happened within these caves that so many fans were taken by surprise. The Shadow which is very similar to the Banshee is this area appeared here.

You will then arrive at the Giant’s Causeway which was not one of the filming locations but nevertheless, this fascinating structure is a must see sight during your time in Northern Ireland.

After here you will make your way to one of the oldest castles built in Northern Ireland. The ruins of Dunluce Castle which has been the inspiration for so many local fantasy writers.

We will then bring you in-land and over to the Carrick-a-Rede rope bridge which appears in season six and is a major part to one characters storyline. If you wish to cross the bridge there will be a requirement.

Before we make our way back to Belfast we continue travelling in-land even more, we make our way to the stunning and mystical Dark Hedges where you will get the chance to use some props and imagine that you are disguising yourself to avoid being captured for the Brotherhood! As well as giving a sneak insight into how and where the Game of Thrones scenes were filmed, your guide will also focus on how the series is linked with the history, religion, mythology and mysticism of the areas.

Although Game of Thrones did not do any filming at the Giant’s Causeway site, as a special bonus we will make a short stop here giving you the chance to experience the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Northern Ireland.
