You will be met at Belfast Port by your driver who will take you direct to Hillsborough Castle on the outskirts of Belfast. Hillsborough Castle is managed by Historic Royal Palaces and is the official residence in Northern Ireland of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll and other members of The Royal Family when they visit the region. You will get a guided tour of this working Royal Palace to discover the history of the late Georgian Mansion which was built in the 1770's. The tour of the house will guide you through the elegant State Rooms, still in use today, including the majestic Throne Room and graceful Drawing Room. You will also be given enough time to take a self guided tour through the 96 acres of beautiful gardens developed from the 1760's onwards, offering a contrast of ornamental grounds, peaceful woodland, meandering waterways and trimmed lawns.
After Hillsborough Castle the coach will take you on a tour of Belfast which will visit the political wall murals still found in the city today as you learn about some of the political history of the city.
The last stop of the day will be Titanic Belfast which was recently voted the best Tourist Attraction in the World. Here you will learn more about the iconic ship that was built on the site of today's museum. Wind you way through all the galleries that tell the story of Titanic and you will even get the chance to see the high definition footage of what Titanic looks like today and learn more about individual items in the wreckage using interactive pods.
After Titanic Belfast you will be brought back in time for your departure from Belfast Port.
During the day you will get the opportunity for lunch in either the town of Hillsbourgh or Titanic Belfast. Lunch is not included in the price of this tour.
