I have animals that are rather unusual. Alpacas (and sheep!) don't normally like to be touched by each other or by us but I have some very tactile boys. This allows us to stroke them and get up really close where they trust us enough to sit down with, very early on into the experience. A lot of my boys are closely related and so have the same friendly, sociable, confident and tactile temperament. You will be guided the whole way to get the most out of these incredible animals in a respectful, safe and fun manner (animal welfare is my top priority).
If you have any particular needs whether physical or mental, alpacas have a very calming presence and will give you a real boost to your wellbeing. Sitting down with and stroking Bubbles or Mr Sharps will help reduce even the highest of blood pressures!
This is all done in the idyllic, peaceful and stunning surroundings of the Dartmoor National Park, Lydford Gorge and the Whitelady Waterfall where you are literally surrounded by nature.

Itinerary
You will be getting up close with all of the alpaca boys and some very cuddly sheep, all guided by your host Helen who will help you interact in a safe manner (with maximum fun!).
The weather dictates what activities we do but they just love to be pampered (and if it rains we all go undercover, animals and humans). So expect to feed them lots of their favourite snacks and feed them hay whilst they sit at your feet. Some of the boys love a kiss, stroke or a cuddle. Mr Sharps will nudge you to give him a body massage!
From Spring the boys will queue up for you to give them a shower. Let the water dances commence as they literally dance with joy in the spray. After we can get their mirror so they can check themselves out.
Snowball needs his own mention. This is one sheep you will want to make time for as he's unlike any other. He's the cuddliest and sweetest animal who just loves people.
Sometimes we finish off with alpaca cat nip for them to roll in. This makes great videos as there will be a lot of rolling around with legs in the air.
Don't forget to see the other sheep boys on your way out. Dave Sheep loves a face rub and Woolly will be looking for rich tea biscuits.
