We are a hands-on science and discovery centre aimed at primary school aged children with over 90 activities to entertain. We have an amazing outdoor play area which includes an all-access section. With a picnic area and coffee shop, you can stay all day.

Space is the art and craft theme for The Look Out Toddler Days on Mon 10 and Tue 11 December 2018 (10am-4pm - drop in any time). As well as the 90 hands-on science exhibits, extra activities include art and craft, story telling and face painting. Cost £7.10 for 1 adult and 1 child aged 5 or under

When the weather isn't so good you are welcome to eat your picnic lunches and snacks indoors in our covered marquee. You can do this if you have paid for entry to The Look Out Discovery Centre, at weekends and in school holidays.

  • Car park opening times
  • There is parking for cars and coaches:
  • 1 April to 30 September - 7am to 8:30pm
  • 1 October to 31 March - 7am to 6pm
  • Parking is £2 for 4 hours or £4 for all day. If you take the small part of the parking ticket you can get a £2 refund on an adult admission to the hands-on science exhibition.
  • Our car park machines now accept the new £1 coins.
  • You can leave and re-enter the exhibition when you visit if you wear your wristband or sticker.
  • This tour/activity will have a maximum of 15 travelers
