Catching triploid rainbow trout in the 6.2-acre, six-metre-deep lake is the goal at Vicarage Spinney Trout Farm, where anglers can fish from platforms or on the banks as they please. The Little Linford farm, situated in a local conservation area, is the site for a full day’s fishing, which can start off with a cooked breakfast, complete with eggs, bacon, sausages, beans and toast. If the weather takes a turn, fishermen and women can retire to the lodge for complimentary refreshments or a game of pool or table tennis while they wait for the sun to re-emerge.
