The Tour

Once doors have closed to the public on Thursday 24 November, Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter will welcome Groupon members for an exclusive Christmas event. Available for entry from 4.30 p.m. to 8 p.m., guests will be granted after-hours access to a tour which showcases authentic sets, props and costumes from the Harry Potter film series. All guests will receive a complimentary souvenir on arrival and the tour will stay open until midnight on these special nights.

Guests can walk the flagstones of the iconic Hogwarts Great Hall in all its festive glory before viewing many of the famous sets – all dressed for Christmas.

While exploring the attractions, guests will also be able to enjoy experiences that have been specifically added for Groupon members like the appearance of animal actors and their supervisors and enjoying a special effects demonstration with John Richardson, a special effects supervisor on the Harry Potter film series. They’ll get the chance to learn wand moves and can ‘fly’ a broomstick like a member of the cast in the studio tour’s green screen experience, with photos available for purchase.

During a short break in the attraction’s Backlot Cafe, guests will be able to enjoy a selected hot meal; a glass of wine, beer, hot or soft drink, as well as a Butterbeer™. They’ll also get the chance to meet the Death Eaters in the shadows of Diagon Alley before being completely enchanted by the vision of a snowy Hogwarts Castle, especially created for the festive period. On-site parking is available, as is a return shuttle bus from Watford Junction station if required.
