The Big Day

Couples choosing the Grade II listed Woodborough Hall as the setting for their big day can pick from two packages. A dedicated wedding planner will be on hand in the run-up to the event whichever package couples choose, helping plans run smoothly. On the day itself, vows can be exchanged in the main hall or the orangery, depending on the number of guests, before everyone is treated to a three-course set menu. Dishes could include goats' cheese crostini or seafood chowder soup to start, followed by lamb rump with a herb crust or chargrilled chicken supreme for the main. The menu can be decided beforehand with the wedding planner. The celebrations can continue into the evening fuelled by a buffet with items such as Scottish smoked salmon, a selection of terrines and pates and a variety of mixed breads.

Package A includes:

• Finger buffet for 70 guests (£945)

Package B includes:

• Everything in Package A

• Pimms reception drink for 50 guests (£240)

• Champagne for the bride and groom (£15)

• Finger buffet for a total of 100 guests (£1,350)

• Bed and breakfast in the bridal suite (£135)

The Merchant
