Two diners can enjoy a dining experience at Woodborough Hall, with a three-course meal available for lunch (served midday to 2.30pm) or dinner (6.30pm to 9pm). Guests will be greeted with Prosecco and canapés, before choosing a starter such as cream of pumpkin soup. Moving along, visitors will find themselves tucking into traditional mains such as fillet of salmon, before satiating sweet-tooths with desserts such as warm chocolate brownie.

The Merchant

Woodborough Hall is a historic hotel in the rolling countryside of Nottinghamshire, featuring a main function room, conference rooms and a number of en-suite bedrooms. The Grade II listed building went up in 1660, though records of a hall's existence on the land date back to 1086. The country estate enjoys a tranquil setting, though it is conveniently only a short drive away from the county's cultural centre, Nottingham.

Woodborough Hall has picked up a decent 3.5/5 stars on TripAdvisor. Although many attended the venue for weddings, they agreed the location was beautiful and the meals generally good.
