Warner Brothers Prize Draw

This page sets out the Terms and Conditions applicable to the Warner Brothers Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Prize Draw (“Warner Brothers Prize Draw”), which is a free prize draw and runs in the UK. This is a legal document which is the agreement between you (whom we refer to as “you”, “your” or “entrant”) and us. We are MyCityDeal Limited (trading as Groupon UK) and we are the promoter of the Warner Brothers Prize Draw. We are a company registered in England with our registered office at Floors 11-12, Aldgate Tower, 2 Leman Street, London E1 8FA (and we refer to ourselves as “Groupon UK” “we”, “us” or “our” in this document).

1. Entry to the Prize Draw

1.1 To enter our Warner Brothers Prize Draw you simply need to buy a free voucher from the deal page that links to these terms and conditions. For technical reasons, payment data may be entered on purchase but no amounts will be deducted from you. You will also be asked to choose your preferred location in the event that you were selected as a winner for one of the regional screenings.

1.2 From the total number of eligible entrants, one winner and 105  runners up will be selected at random.

1.3 The prize draw will be open to entrants beginning at 10:00am on Thursday 1st, November 2018.

1.4 The prize draw will remain open until midnight on Thursday 8th November.

1.5 Participation in the prize draw implies full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions without modification.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Only one entry per person is allowed via the competition page.  However, entrants can boost their chance of winning by making a purchase of any item or activity on the Groupon UK site between 10:00am on 1 November 2018 and 12:00pm on 8th November. Each purchase will enable an additional entry to the competition and the entrant will be entered automatically.  No third party or bulk entries will be permitted.

2.2 Entrants must be aged 18 years or older.

2.3 Groupon UK accepts no responsibility for entries that fail to be received or delivered. Proof of submission is not proof of entry.

2.4. Groupon UK reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants. Groupon UK does not accept liability for any ineligible entries.

2.5. Groupon UK may request any relevant information it views as reasonably necessary to verify eligibility. Failure to provide such information upon request will result in Groupon UK denying eligibility for the prize draw.

2.6. The prize draw is only open to individuals residing in the UK who have a Groupon UK account. Individuals not having a Groupon UK account will have to register to be able to obtain a free voucher.  For the avoidance of doubt, no monetary obligations are connected with registering for a Groupon UK account and individuals can cancel their account at any time without cost.

3. The Prize

3.1. There will be one winner of two tickets to the London premiere of Fantastic Beasts: Crimes of Grindelwald which will take place on Tuesday 13th November, 2018  in London (with the exact time and location to be confirmed by Warner Bros. nearer the time of the event) and an overnight stay in the 5* Bentley Hotel in Kensington on the night of the 13th November 2018.

3.2 There will be 105 winners to receive two tickets to a regional screening of Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald on Tuesday 13th November, 2018.

There are a total of 10 tickets available at each of the below regional screenings.

3.2. The prize is as stated on the deal page that links to these terms and conditions.

3.3. The prize is non-transferrable.

3.4. The prize is as stated and you are not entitled to obtain another product or cash alternative from us.

3.5. Should Groupon UK be unable to provide a prize as listed due to circumstances outside of its reasonable control, it reserves the right to provide a substitute prize of similar value without incurring any liability as a result.

3.6 The prize can only be delivered to addresses within the UK.

3.7 The winners are responsible for all expenses not expressly stated in these terms and conditions as being included as part of the prize including travel to and from the venue

3.8 There are no warranties or guarantees given by Groupon UK in relation to the prize.

4. Selecting the Winner

4.1. From the total number of eligible entrants who have purchased a free voucher to enter the prize draw, one winner and 105 runners up will be selected at random.  The winner of the London Premiere tickets will be chosen from all combined entries and the runners up will be chosen from a data pull including other entries of their selected location. An email confirming you have purchased the voucher is not confirmation that you have won the prize draw.

4.2. Groupon UK will notify the winner at the email address registered with their Groupon UK account  by 12:00pm on the 9th November. The winner will be asked to confirm acceptance of their prize.

5 Claiming Your Prize

5.1. If Groupon UK does not receive the acceptance email from the winner after notification is provided, Groupon UK reserves the right, within its sole discretion, to deem the prize as unaccepted and to offer the prize to an additional entrant. Such subsequent winner will be notified as per clause 4.2 save that such notification may be later than the deadline specified.

5.2. Once a prize is accepted Groupon UK will arrange details of the prize collection directly with Warner Brothers who will be in touch with the winners.

6. Privacy

6.1. Personal data provided to Groupon UK for the purpose of entering this prize draw will be processed in accordance with the Groupon UK  [privacy statement[2] ] or as otherwise set out in these terms and conditions.  We will only use personal data submitted the purposes of selecting, contacting and announcing winners.

7. Other Restrictions

7.1. Groupon UK shall be entitled to terminate or modify the prize draw or to modify these terms and conditions at any time prior to the closing date of the prize draw by publishing any such modification or termination on any Groupon UK website or Facebook page.

7.2. Failure to comply with any aspect of these terms and conditions will result in the invalidation of your entry. In the event of a dispute, the decision of Groupon UK shall be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.3. Groupon UK reserves the right to promote this prize draw on Facebook.com, Twitter.com and any Groupon UK websites, subject to the terms and conditions governing the use of the aforementioned websites.

7.4. Groupon UK shall be under no obligation to run the prize draw or award prizes in the event it is unable to do so due to circumstances or causes beyond its reasonable control. You agree that by entering this prize draw no obligation on the part of Groupon UK shall be attached for such events described in the preceding sentence.

7.5. Groupon UK accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant resulting from entering this prize draw or by the entrant’s acceptance of the prize.  Groupon UK is always liable for: (a) death and personal injury caused by Groupon’s negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation made by itself; (c) any mandatory statutory liability; or (d) any implied contractual terms that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.  Other than as set out in this section 7.5, Groupon UK is not liable for any losses or damages you may suffer, including any indirect or consequential losses.

7.6. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Twitter. Facebook and Twitter shall not be liable for any loss, damage or liability caused by matters relating to this prize draw.

7.7. For entrants who enter from England or Wales, this promotion shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and all disputes arising from it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. For entrants who enter from Scotland or Northern Ireland, this promotion shall be governed by the laws of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively and all disputes arising from it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland or Northern Ireland respectively.
