Last year's festival had more variety in cuisines, the only highlight this year was the onstage music at the far end of the field.
Had a great day out. There were some problems with the children's tickets, however -- the reservations window insisted that adults accompanying children also needed tickets -- which meant that the children's cooking sessions were only half-full and other people had been turned away. Hopefully Foodies will sort this for next year. But otherwise, highly recommended.
More alternative food options should be available. It felt this year it was more drinks
The trader with the feta and olives was rude and conned me into paying £17.00 for goods which I specifically told him I want a small amount of, he just bunged it in the bag, handed it to me and said £17.00 without telling me the cost of the feta or the olives. I was so shocked and embarrassed that I paid without thinking to question him. The food we ate from the Falafel store was bland and took over 30 minutes queuing time and was not worth the £8 we paid. Overall, having paid £33.00 for 2 tickets, we were very disappointed to have to pay such exorbitant prices for goods. Will not be attending every again!
