From Our Editors

Located in the historic district of Bridlington in a three-storey, Grade II listed building, The Georgian Tea Rooms prepare an array of homecooked meals served amidst antique tables and chairs. Upstairs and outside there are antiques and collectables to admire and enjoy. Those who prefer dining in the fresh air can sit at one of the outdoor tables in the patio garden, adorned by an old fountain. Patrons can use complimentary parking space provided nearby.

We were very disappointed, we had 4 slices of bread between 2 people with the crusts cut off, no choice at all, egg mayo which my husband doesn't like so that was all I had, Philadelphia type cheese with cucumber, and plain ham, the sandwiches once cut into triangles were tiny. The scone was clearly a bought in one, with 2 pre packed squares of butter, a small amount of raspberry jam and cream, not sure what the cream was but definitely not clotted, a piece of Tiffin each measuring less than 1 inch square, and a triangle of lemon drizzle around the same size. My husband asked for a glass of red wine which came in a champagne flute?? Although the pot of tea was supposed to be for 2, it came in a one person teapot, we had to ask for the second teapot and extra milk. The garden and surroundings were nice, we moved tables as the one set up for us had bird droppings on it. We were very disappointed and definitely wouldn't recommend this we felt very ripped off and hungry on leaving. No one came to check on s during the meal even though we were the only people here at 3pm on a Monday.
