About this Business
Loved it all. Staff location food. No complaints at all.
Great location. Nice staff, helpful and polite. Room spacious but needs updating ... the bath had the coating broken, therefore not hygienic to use.
Food disappointing a three course buffet .. I thought it was table service ( maybe my fault). Clearly short of staff as we had to clear a table to sit down. Lift broke down , sad to see old people climbing the stairs without help for baggage.
Me and my partner Faye where extremely shocked and disappointed upon arrival and felt we did not get what was pictured when sold to us.

I picked this hotel mainly for location. It’s close to the train station so it was convenient.
This booking is part of the deal as you pay 139 for two nights instead of a night.
The room was very small with basic facilities. The whole hotel was in fact quite run down. The room gave off some bad smell probably due to humidity. That happened as well as we were on the way to spa.
The spa facilities were ok and nothing too good not too bad.
Breakfast was ok - again ordinary but nothing impressive. I found the utensils (teapots and cups) quite dirty (spotted dirt and stain in almost every cup).
Overall I would say the experience is overpriced for what it serves - For the money we pay for we could have got a cleaner place and better service.
Conveniently placed to access places of interest in Buxton and the Peak District. Hotel was large and spacious and meals were satisfactory.
