Ristorante San Marco on Far Gosford Street is styled after the classic white-washed trattorias of rural Italy. The restaurant opened in 1992, and has continued into its third decade with the help of owner Sebastian Grasso’s commitment to sourcing ingredients directly from Italy and Sicily. The result is an a la carte menu that showcases many archetypal examples of cucina italiana. Pastas from Emilia-Romagna and Lazio are complemented by an array of veal, fish and grilled-beef dishes, with both hot and chilled options available to start and a host of fresh daily specials.
