About Hibernian Football Club

Formed in 1875, Hibernian Football Club has enjoyed a long and rich history, having won four Scottish League championships and two Scottish Cups, as well as being the first British club to participate in the European Cup in 1955. Hibs are currently playing in the Scottish Championship, having been relegated from the Scottish Premier League in 2014. Their home ground is Easter Road, a stadium first opened in 1893, and most recently re-opened after renovations in 2010. The ground is available for guided tours, and its South Stand is the international headquarters of the Homeless World Cup.
