Located in a restored 16th-century public house, The Vaults serves an array of mouth-watering dishes prepared fresh to order with locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. A fine selection of local ales, ciders and spirits is also available to complement the food. The venue welcomes families, large groups and owners with well-behaved dogs.

Lovely 16th century pub and a very helpful and friendly landlady but the food let it down. It was tasteless, bland and overcooked.
I understand ownership is changing imminently so maybe that will change ?

The service was really poor after 1hour we had only had the starter even though in the whole restaurant there was a table with 4 and a table with 2 other people, when we did get our mains the supposedly 8oz steak was really small and over cooked despite asking for it to be cooked medium.
Very disappointing experience..
