Even though you pay for a voucher for four if one of the party is unable to attend you will not be given the vouchers you have paid for!

It looked like it needed to be pulled down , I felt like I went back to the year 1970! Very disappointed as we went for my sons birthday, Never again there , even if it was free !

We purchased 2 tickets for £25 a ticket. Each ticket was for 4 people and entitled each to entrance, a meal and a drink. On the day two people couldn't come after they had a car accident. When we got to the stadium and explained two of our party had been involved in an accident and wouldn't be coming they issued us with 6 tickets instead of 8. They said they barely make any money out of the Groupon tickets and couldn't give us all of them as we might get another drink with each of the two spare tickets. I felt this was very wrong. We purchased eight tickets and in my book we were entitled to 8 tickets. Had we bought 6 tickets from Groupon it would've cost us £35. We paid £50. The owner was particularly worried that we would use the two spare tickets to buy alcoholic drinks. I'd like to add that not one of us had an alcoholic drink. It was a Sunday morning event and all of us were driving anyway. We drank cokes and soda water and lime. When we asked for an explanation, the owner told us they do the deal on Groupon to get known. They said how they hope that people will buy alcoholic drinks and they'll make their money on those that they've lost via the cheap tickets. He said he was fed up with Groupon and was going to stop doing this deal. I think we had a consumer contract. We paid for 8 and should've got 8. He said people have taken liberties with the tickets and realised that if they're in a party of 4 that the Groupon ticket is the best deal. He said that sadly those kind of people had ruined it for people like us. I don't think that's people taking liberties - I think that's people paying for something and using it. There was no way a bunch of women at 11 am were going to be eating two meals or drinking alcoholic drinks anyway but that's not the point. Even if they had, they would still have been entitled to do so as they'd paid for the tickets. I have to say this left a bitter taste in our mouth on our first visit. On to the actual experience. The venue was very cold and quite run down. The meal wasn't too bad if you didn't mind cooked, frozen food. Scamp and chips, burger and chips, that kind of thing. The dog racing was fun.
