Rye House Kart Raceway, situated in Hertfordshire near London, is a high speed karting circuit. It is one of Britains oldest karting circuits and the celebrated racing driver Lewis Hamilton began his career at this track. The track offers a variety of experiences and also provides specialist packages for childrens parties, corporate days out, stag dos, hen parties and team building exercises. Rye House is able to do this by providing a range of different kart types, of both petrol and electric types, to suit racers of all ages. The electric karts have been designed specifically to be suitable for children between the ages of three and five. Furthermore, there are a number of circuits designed especially for children as well. Rye House Kart Raceway also offers packages aimed specifically at corporate clients. Its grand prix racing day is suitable for races of twenty six people. The day begins with a drivers' briefing before qualifying begins to ascertain the grid positions for the forthcoming race. The race itself will then begin and takes place continuously over a period of forty minutes. Trophies will then be presented to the top three drivers of the day. Afterwards, all the drivers meet in the dedicated hospitality suite and bar to exchange some casual banter and unwind over a few beers. There is also a special endurance racing package which includes races from one to six hours in duration depending on client requirements.
