We were made to eat in the bar instead of the restaurant. The bar was dirty and had no atmosphere. The furniture was old and the television was on loudly on channel 5. The meal was not particularly good and the staff/owner were not at all welcoming. We were glad to leave.

we loved the food and service was good but we were ushered to the cold &unwelcoming bar area 'as we were Groupon'which I thought was rude. This area completely lacked atmosphere neither Chinese or English. It was a weird experience and if I had visited the ladies room before eating then I would not have eaten there. To sum up great food friendly staff but some radical changes required to attract customers.

It would have been nice to know the name of your excellent Chinese restaurant. On the take away menu, it did say "Shanghai" in Chinese characters, but most English people would not be able to read that. No Englah translation, just "The Castle Inn" at the top. It is easier to eat Chinese food from bowls, when using chopsticks. We will be recommending it to friends, but it seems odd to tell them a Chinese restaurant is called "The Castle Inn"
