Visited the salon on Wednesday after purchasing a voucher from Groupon for a wash, cut & blow dry with a conditioning treatment. Having phoned up to book my appointment I was already having doubts as the lady wasn’t very forthcoming with her telephone manner! I believe I had James cut my hair, who was very pleasant and polite. I had my hair washed but no conditioning treatment was mentioned and normal conditioner was just put on my hair and immediately washed off, no nice relaxing head massage that you normally get with a standard hair wash at the hairdresser! I immediately told James that I didn’t want any short layers put in my hair, just the ones I already had to be trimmed slightly (long length ones) to which James agreed to! Well I now have very short layers that aren’t even equal each side! Needless to say I’m not at all happy with my haircut as it’s not at all what I wanted or asked for. I didn’t find the salon to be relaxing at all and didn’t enjoy the experience! I did phone the salon to complain & left a voicemail for them to return my call to discuss, no returning call so I phoned them again to speak to James. He was very apologetic and offered to correct my hair & give me a conditioning treatment but I did decline having lost a bit of faith in him! I suppose it’s a chance you take buying a Groupon & using a new hairdresser but at the same time we hope that they would listen to our requests as we know our hair best! Needless to say I will not be returning!
