Taking a bow and reeling in the 2012 Good Food Guide applause, The Riverside Restaurant & Theatre is a waterfront haven offering succour for food and film fans alike. The expert team of chefs freshly prepare everything from their own bread and pasta to complex three-course menus, tapas tasting boards, and dinner and film specials. Aside from films, a whole host of operas and ballets also grace the Riverside’s stage. The venue was one of the original pioneering cinemas to show silent movies, moving pictures would be shown, accompanied by a pianist. Then known as The Electric Parade, the establishment has gone through various guises including The Woodbridge Cinema, up until 1984 when it changed to its current incarnation.
