The four-star Appleby Manor is located on the edge of the Lake District National Park in the Eden Valley. The town of Appleby is a historic market town with relaxed local pubs. Surrounded by the Eden valley, outdoorsy types can partake in golfing, horse riding, hiking and cycling among the picturesque scenery. The restaurant has been awarded an AA rosette and guests can enjoy a four-course meal on their first evening, complete with pre-dinner canapes. Days can start with a full English breakfast including local food specialties such as cured Cumbrian bacon, Cumberland sausages and Lancashire black pudding. Double en suite rooms feature tea and coffee making facilities and Freeview TV.
