Dating back to 1913, Kettering’s Wicksteed Park offers a host of leisure activities for all the family. The RUSH activity tower lets thrill-seekers tackle a zip wire, leap of faith and climbing wall, while more sedate fun can be had on the restored lake complete with shingle beach and 90m pontoon. Little ones can burn off some energy on a selection of 30 rides, including the astroglide multi-slide, dodgems, pirate ship and water chute, and explore the whole park on the railway. Families can quell hunger pangs with a range of food available throughout the site, and peruse the Bah Humbug sweet shop for treats.
